Roberta Goschke was born in 1954 in New Castle, PA and currently resides in Waldoboro, Maine, where she draws, paints landscapes and still life.

Roberta Goschke studied life drawing and oil painting at the Art League School, Alexandria, VA.
She also became devoted to participating in many figure drawing groups in the Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia area including the Corcoran School of Art, and George Washington University. Her pastel drawings, depicting the Army’s involvement in Panama, are included in
the collection of the U.S. Army Center for Military History in Washington D.C. Before coming to Maine, she was a member of the Washington Society of Landscape Painters and the Art League in Alexandria, Virginia.

Roberta hosts a small group of artists weekly at her studio for a life drawing class.
