I have always been fascinated with light and to be able to capture it on a two dimensional surface has been a life long endeavor. I find watercolors’ transparency, fluidity and fast drying properties a perfect medium for this quest. Whether trying to capture a gray or rainy day, that elusive late afternoon glow, or the brightness of the noonday sun, light will always play an important role in my painting regardless of subject matter.
